What are the preventive actions of hair loss?

  • Avoid too hot dryers.
  • Dry your hair in the open rather than using a dryer.
  • Avoid pulling the hair accessories (elastic, curling irons, headbands?).
  • Protect your scalp and your skin during sun exposure, wearing a hat or cap.
  • Do not be deficient in vitamins and minerals (iron, copper, zinc, silicon, B vitamins), using a varied diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
  • Drink plenty of fluids (water) and regularly.
  • Learn how to reduce stress by practicing relaxation such as meditation or yoga. Stress directly affects hormone production.
  • If you are having chemotherapy, wear a helmet cooling sessions. This process helps to limit hair loss.
